Roni's Community Center (Light Up Blue For Autism)

Roni's Community Center:

Light Up Blue for Autism!! To help spread Autism Awareness, this community center was built to serve as a skill center for your Sims that is also "spectrum friendly." This center has a gym, skill rooms, computer lab, gaming room, toddler room, movie room, reading room, sensory room, outside playground and a garden.  I dedicate this center to my little buddy Roni and all those who live with Autism.

Spec's:

  1. Large gym with basketball court, rock climbing wall and a work out area in upper loft.
  2. Skill rooms for painting, sculpting and inventing.  These rooms are spectrum friendly.
  3. Sensory room.
  4. Toddler room which is spectrum friendly.
  5. Reading room.
  6. Gaming room.
  7. Movie room.
  8. Computer lab.
  9. Outside playground.
  10. Garden with gazebo.
Public restrooms with showers.

This lot is set to "Vistors Allowed" but can be changed in Edit Town mode to suit your own personal preference and is built on a 50x50 lot.  Some store content is required, such as the rock climbing wall and the basketball court.  The L-Shaped stairs from the Prism Art Studio is also required.  The showers that were used in the public bathrooms are used from the venue Skylight Studio for the Performing Arts.  If you don't have it, they should be replaced with default showers from the base game.  This community center does not use any custom content.

Please share and recommend to help spread Autism Awareness and have your Sims Light Up Blue for Autism.

Autism Awareness Day

Yes, this blog is normally used for sharing my builds over at The Sims 3 Exchange, but with Autism Awareness day upon us, I decided to light everything up blue to show support for Autism awareness and research, and to support some very dear friends of mine who have kids with Autism as well.  So all week I will keep this blog lit up blue and then it will return back to it's normal layout.

However, I have decided that I'm going to build a community lot in support of Autism.  I'm working my plans out now and plan on releasing it on April 2nd to celebrate Autism Awareness Day.  Before I release it to the The Sims 3 exchange, I'll post all the details here complete with pictures.

If you'd like to show your support and learn more about Autism, check out the Autism Speaks which has all sorts of amazing information!

As always, Happy Simming!!
